My love is quiet
I do not try
To sweep you off your feet
Until the rising sea
Comes in and you need me to lift you up
My heart is fixed here
I will not move, dear
You’ve walked a great, lonely land
I have not tried to turn your hand
Till you know who loves you
Won’t try to prove my point
I’ll be a mountain and I’ll wait
Oh, my love is sky-scraping
Season after season waiting
Oh, I’ll be a towering mountain
Till you come around
So when the clouds torment
The cruel storm won’t relent
And you are lost to the earth
Lost to the land of your birth
Don’t you know who loves you?
I still don’t try to prove my point
I’ll be a mountain and I’ll wait
Oh, my love is sky-scraping
Season after season waiting
Oh, I’ll be a towering mountain
Till you come around

I have been a listener of Luxury since ‘Amazing and Thank You’ Lee’s thoughtful lyrics the instrumentation and raw emotion have always drawn me to this band. So far on this album I enjoy One of Those Things (Or) The Temple. Great job! jason hendry

Nice to see that some Christian musicians from my youth haven't lost their minds. Nice track that sounds fresh but isn't a dramatic departure from past Joy Electric. bendonahower
Claudia Ferme is not opposed to disappearing completely, especially if it frees her from having to be perceived by others. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 11, 2022
