Oh, John
You weren’t on
You were off
Another world
Pulled you in
An atmosphere
Like gravity
Disappeared
Held you up
Stopped you dead
In your tracks
Arrested you
And you moved
To the beats
Only you knew
We all heard the beating of the drums
They sounded simply too far off
We all knew we could look but never find them
We watched you go
Like an astronaut
With a keyboard and a four-track heart
You walked on
Nothing to do
But watch you go and wish we could follow you
Oh, John
Where do you go
When you write these songs
That break our hearts?
You shield your eyes
From the sun
We want to pull
You from the dark
Oh, John
Where have you gone?
Our astronaut
With the four-track heart
Another world…
A galaxy
Meant for you
But not for me

I have been a listener of Luxury since ‘Amazing and Thank You’ Lee’s thoughtful lyrics the instrumentation and raw emotion have always drawn me to this band. So far on this album I enjoy One of Those Things (Or) The Temple. Great job! jason hendry

Nice to see that some Christian musicians from my youth haven't lost their minds. Nice track that sounds fresh but isn't a dramatic departure from past Joy Electric. bendonahower
Claudia Ferme is not opposed to disappearing completely, especially if it frees her from having to be perceived by others. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 11, 2022
