Oh, I’m giving you whatever you want
That’s how you love
Over the years so much has changed
But you are here
You are still here
Through every furious storm
The burdened pull of the moon
Tree branches trembling now
One man has stayed
That man is you
Oh, you – the lad on a quest
Journeying on under the stars
Watching you turn
Into a man so much has changed
I will be here
Just like you’ve been
Through every furious storm
The burdened pull of the moon
Tree branches trembling now
One man has stayed
That man is you
Baby, take my hand
On in the quest
A northern wind
Wild in the night
All of these years
It’s been a dream
To see the lights
Only one man with whom to climb
Through every furious storm
The burdened pull of the moon
Tree branches trembling now
One man has stayed
That man is you
Over a mythical sea
Into the great arctic land
Quickening hearts to the north
Tears in my eyes
Holding his hand
Only one man
I have been a listener of Luxury since ‘Amazing and Thank You’ Lee’s thoughtful lyrics the instrumentation and raw emotion have always drawn me to this band. So far on this album I enjoy One of Those Things (Or) The Temple. Great job! jason hendry
Nice to see that some Christian musicians from my youth haven't lost their minds. Nice track that sounds fresh but isn't a dramatic departure from past Joy Electric. bendonahower
Claudia Ferme is not opposed to disappearing completely, especially if it frees her from having to be perceived by others. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 11, 2022
